Just like to announce that we have a few new competitions running until the release of Cataclysm on 1st of November 2010.
To celebrate the launch of WoWContender.com we thought that we would provide some incentive to our duellists and offer prizes to the top duellists on our site.
Our “Top Duellist Competition – Major” involves the top 3 WoWContender.com duellists from EU and US zones (with the highest amount of rank points) receiving 10,000, 7,000 and 4,000 gold respectively. Winners will be notified via email and prizes will be delivered to the winners’ in-game WoW accounts within 48 hours of competition expiry (11:59pm EST 1st November 2010).
Furthermore a monthly “Top Duellist Competition – Minor” will be starting in March 2010 and involves giving out 1000 gold each to 3 members every month with the current highest amount of rank points. Monthly winners will be chosen at 8pm EST on the last day of every month. Winners will be notified via email and prizes will be delivered to winners’ in-game WoW accounts within 48 hours of winners being chosen.
We have a separate “Top Duel Video Competition” starting up aswell. At 8pm EST on the last day of every month we will pick 2 duel video clips from that month to go in the running to win a copy of the new Cataclysm Expanision Pack. A winner will be drawn randomly from the list at 12.00pm EST 1st November 2010. The winner will be notified via email and a copy of the the new expansion will be shipped to them within 7 days.

Top Duellist Competition – Major
- Prize structure -
- 1st 10,000 gold; 2nd 7,000 gold, 3rd 4,000 gold – EU zone.

- Competition closes – 11:59pm EST 1st November 2010.

- Prize structure – 1000 gold for the current top 3 duellists.
- Competition closes – 8:00pm EST on the last day of every month.
- Gold delivery – within 48 hours of monthly winners being chosen.
Top Duel Video Competition
- Prize structure – Cataclysm Expansion Pack.
- Competition closes – 11:59pm EST 30th September 2010.
- Winner drawn - 12:00pm EST 1st November 2010.
- Prize delivery – within 7 days of competition expiry.

Gold prizes for the Top Duellist Competition – Major will be honored if and only if WoWContender.com surpasses 500 registered users and has catered for at least 200 duels by 1st November 2010.
Gold prizes for the Top Duellist Competition – Minor will be honored if and only if WoWContender.com has catered for at least 20 duels within the current month.
Gold prizes will only be delivered to the winning members’ in game character that they have registered with WoWContender.com.
If winners cannot be determined by rank points due to too many members having the same amount of points then winners will be determined by the least amount of duel losses and then most duel gold won.
Prize for the Best Duel Video Competition will be honored if and only if WoWContender.com surpasses 20 submitted duel video clips by 1st November 2010.
